Hi, my name is Kristen Zapf. I am originally from Foley, MN and recently graduated this spring from the Minnesota State University of Mankato. I received my degree in both Health and Physical Education. It is my first year here at Eden Valley-Watkins, and I couldn't be more excited for this school year!

My goal is to create a positive and safe learning environment for each student that allows all students to succeed and grow. I want my students to be able to take away key lifetime knowledge and skills necessary to live a healthy life. By creating a rapport with students and knowing their interests while teaching a variety of activities, this will only increase the likelihood of students choosing an active lifestyle outside of school! Plus we will have fun!

Outside of school and teaching, I have the passion for coaching! I grew up loving sports and playing competively so being able to share that love of sports with my players is awesome! In my spare time you can find me with my dogs, spending time with friends and family, and doing anything outside (fishing, hiking, riding horses, camping, you name it).
