Hello! I am Kimberly Salo and I have been the Instrumental Music Instructor at EVW for the past 26 years. I teach 5^th and 6^th grade band, as well as 5^th and 6^th grade General Music at the EV Elementary. At the High School I teach JR Band, SR Band, Jazz Ensemble and Pep Band. I am also the Tri-M Music Honor Society Advisor. During the summer I direct the Marching Band and teach Summer Rec classes for Community Ed.

A native of Annandale, I currently live in Richmond with my husband Daniel and our daughter, Emma. Our older children, Eli and Erin, are students at UMD. I earned both a Bachelor of Science degree in Music Education (1989) and a Master's of Music Education (2001) from SCSU.

The best part about my job is watching the students grow as musicians and people over the 8 years that they are in the band program!
