Jodine Neiman
Hello there! My name is Jodine Neiman. My husband’s name is David and together we have 3 boys. I grew up in Parkers Prairie, which is just north of Alexandria. We currently live just outside of Eden Valley. I attended Bemidji State University and got my degree in Education along with my Coaching License.
I had been subbing in the Eden Valley-Watkins district for two years, and when the opportunity to join the staff and school district here arose, I jumped on it. This will be my 5th year teaching in the 4th grade.
I want to create an environment where students feel safe and comfortable. I believe that when these key elements are around, learning will take place in many shapes and forms, allowing our students to be successful. I also believe that mistakes are okay and allow us to learn more fully. They teach us to make changes, learn from them and grow as learners. Persistence to figure out the “why” of things and not just accept things because we are told.
When I’m not teaching, I’m usually running around to all the different after school activities our 3 boys are involved with. Sometimes we do manage to get a free moment and enjoy camping with our family and friends. I also enjoy gardening, reading, and spending time with my family.
