My name is Haley Miller and I am a school social worker serving primarily 5th-8th grade students at Eden Valley Elementary and Eden Valley-Watkins Middle School. Everyday, I strive to reach out to students and let them know they are valued, capable and vital to our school community. I believe parents and caregivers are the true experts in regards to their children and are an essential presence in the success and wellbeing of their children.

I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice from St. Cloud State University. My career background includes work with the Waite Park Police Department as a Patrol Officer and School Resource Officer. During my tenure with Waite Park, I learned I have a passion to invest in preventative practices that help serve our youth. To further this goal, I graduated with a Master's of Social Work with an emphasis in Multicultural Clinical Practice degree from Augsburg College in 2019. By paring the knowledge and experience I gained in Law Enforcement with the person-centered, evidence-based practices of Social Work, I strive to bring a comprehensive, team-oriented and compassionate practice to my work in our schools.

I love spending time with my family—my husband, three daughters, and three dogs. We like to walk, bike and enjoy bonfires and sunsets. My husband and I also share a passion for motorcycle riding and hope to revive two-wheeled weekend get-aways when the kids are a bit older : )
